Mitsitam Native Food Café
Located in The Smithsonian National Museum of American Indian Mitsitam Café serves indigenous cuisine from all regions of North America. Each regional menu features food and cooking techniques of that region. Each season, the menus change to reflect what is available during that season. You can try many of the items before purchasing and choose items from multiple regions. Some of the food is interesting to try while others are just magnificent to the taste buds.

BLT Steak
If you are looking to have a steak, why not try out one of the best steakhouses in Washington DC. It was rated "Best of Steak" in 2011. Open for lunch and dinner, BLT Steak is located a short walk from The Mall, near the White House. In addition to serving different cuts of steaks, they also serve wonderfully prepared fish, chicken and lamb. They are also known for their amazing popovers and nice wine selections. Make sure to leave room for one of their mouthwatering deserts. Whatever your fancy, come with a big appetite!

Aria Pizzeria & Bar
Aria Pizzeria & Bar is located in the Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center right across the street from the US Post Office and behind the National Museum of Natural History. They serve handmade pizzas, salads, baked penne pasta dishes, Panini and wraps. They advertise fast service and offer outdoor dining.

Breadline
Known for serving some of the best bread in Washington DC, Breadline is located a short walk from The Mall, near the White House. Breadline is known for serving delicious sandwiches, salads, and homemade soups. It also serves excellent breakfasts. Breadline is only open for breakfast and lunch but is definitely a great place to take a break from sight seeing.

Old Ebbitt Grill
Open since 1856, Old Ebbitt Grill has been a favorite meeting spot for former presidents, journalists, political insiders, theatergoers and celebrities alike. They received the Diners Choice Award in 2010. Ebbitts serves upscale American cuisine with fresh and natural ingredients. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ebbitts is located right across the street from the Department of the Treasury and very close to The Mall.

Café du Parc
Centrally located to The Mall and The White House, Café du Parc brings a French flair to downtown Washington DC. They are open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner.
